Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings, accommodation, hunting activities, tours and services arranged or provided by HuntNQ at any location.
By making a booking, paying a deposit or participating in a HuntNQ activity, guests agree to these Terms & Conditions and any additional conditions provided with their booking.
1. Bookings, Payments & Cancellations
A deposit is required to secure all bookings. The deposit amount and final payment date will be stated on the relevant quote, invoice or booking confirmation.
Deposits are non-refundable where a guest cancels, changes dates, fails to attend or departs early, subject to Australian Consumer Law. No refund is provided for unused services or early departure at the guest's discretion.
Booking changes are subject to availability and approval by HuntNQ and may incur additional costs.
Prices are in Australian dollars and include GST where applicable unless otherwise stated. Confirmed prices will not change unless the booking is changed.
HuntNQ may alter, postpone or cancel activities due to weather, flooding, fire, property access, safety concerns, government restrictions or other circumstances outside its reasonable control. Any remedy will be provided in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
2. Arrival, Departure & Third-Party Services
Guests must comply with advised arrival times, departure times and meeting locations. Failure to attend as arranged may be treated as a no-show.
Flights, transfers, charters, accommodation or other services provided by independent third parties may be subject to their own terms and cancellation policies.
HuntNQ is not responsible for delays, cancellations or additional costs arising from travel arrangements or third-party services outside its control, except where HuntNQ is legally responsible.
3. Guest Conduct
Guests must follow all reasonable directions from HuntNQ guides, staff and property management, including safety and property requirements.
Unsafe, disruptive, abusive or illegal behaviour may result in a guest being removed from an activity or property without refund, where permitted by law.
Guests are responsible for any damage they cause to accommodation, vehicles, equipment or property beyond reasonable wear and tear.
4. Hunting, Firearms & Legal Requirements
All hunting and firearm use must comply with applicable Commonwealth, state and territory laws and relevant property requirements.
Guests are responsible for obtaining any required firearm licence, permit or approval. Where permitted by law, guests without the required licence may be required to complete a prohibited person declaration or other required documentation provided following booking confirmation.
Firearms must be transported, stored, handled and discharged lawfully and in accordance with HuntNQ safety procedures. Firearms may only be discharged in approved areas and under the direction of HuntNQ guides.
Guests must not handle or discharge firearms while affected by alcohol, illegal drugs or any substance that may impair their ability to participate safely.
Only approved species may be hunted. Guests must follow guide instructions and ethical hunting practices at all times. Wounded animals must be reported immediately and reasonable efforts made to recover them.
Hunting is affected by animal movement, weather and environmental conditions. HuntNQ does not guarantee that any particular species or animal will be located or successfully taken.
Trophy fees and other additional hunting charges apply where advised and are payable unless specifically included in the confirmed package.
5. Children & Minors
Parents and guardians are responsible for minors in their care throughout their stay and during all activities.
Minors must be appropriately supervised at all times and must follow all safety instructions and property requirements.
Participation by minors in hunting, firearm use or other activities is subject to applicable laws, property requirements and approval by HuntNQ.
A parent or legal guardian may be required to complete or sign waivers, declarations or other required documentation on behalf of a minor.
6. Safety & Assumption of Risk
Hunting and staying in remote and rural locations involve inherent risks, including firearms, wild and feral animals, livestock, snakes, crocodiles, vehicles, boats, aircraft, waterways, uneven terrain, extreme weather and limited access to emergency or medical services.
Guests voluntarily accept the inherent risks associated with these environments and activities and acknowledge that serious injury or death may occur.
Guests are responsible for ensuring they are physically able to participate and must advise HuntNQ of any medical or physical condition that may affect their safe participation.
Guests must attend required safety briefings and follow all reasonable safety instructions. HuntNQ may refuse or discontinue participation where a guest presents a safety risk.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded under Australian Consumer Law or other applicable legislation.
7. Natural Waterways
Natural waterways in areas where HuntNQ operates may contain crocodiles, snakes, strong currents, submerged objects and other hazards.
Guests are advised not to enter or swim in natural waterways. Any guest who chooses to enter a natural waterway does so at their own risk.
8. Accommodation & Personal Property
Accommodation and facilities vary between locations and will be outlined in the booking information.
Guests acknowledge that HuntNQ operates in remote locations where access to medical and emergency services may be limited or delayed.
Guests are responsible for their own firearms, equipment, luggage, valuables and personal belongings.
9. Privacy & Media
HuntNQ may collect personal and booking information reasonably required to manage bookings, communicate with guests, provide services, maintain safety and comply with legal requirements.
Information may be provided to property owners, guides, transport operators, accommodation providers or other service providers where necessary to fulfil a booking or comply with the law. HuntNQ does not sell or rent guest information.
The HuntNQ website may use cookies and analytics services.
HuntNQ may take photographs or video during activities. Guests who do not wish to appear in promotional material should advise HuntNQ.
Where a guest voluntarily provides or submits photographs or video to HuntNQ for promotional use, they grant HuntNQ permission to use that content and confirm they have permission from identifiable people appearing in it.
10. Waivers & Documentation
Guests are required to complete waivers, medical declarations, firearm documentation or other required forms before participating. These will be provided with the booking confirmation and must be completed and returned prior to arrival.
Failure to provide required documentation may prevent participation.
These Terms & Conditions, together with the guest's quote, invoice and booking confirmation, form part of the booking agreement.
11. Australian Consumer Law & Governing Law
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), including the Australian Consumer Law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Where services are provided in another state or territory, any mandatory laws of that jurisdiction continue to apply.
Acceptance
By making a booking, paying a deposit or other amount, or participating in a HuntNQ activity, guests acknowledge that they have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions and any additional conditions applying to their booking.
