Feral pigs are what most guests come for, and Cape York carries them in serious numbers. They work the creek systems and lagoon edges early and late, and hole up in thick cover through the heat of the day.
Big boars are genuinely worth the walk. They are heavy, thick-skinned animals that reward a considered shot and punish a rushed one. Sows and smaller pigs are common enough that a first-timer will get opportunities without needing to be lucky.
It is the most forgiving hunt we run and the best introduction to the country.
