Firearms & Licensing

What licence do I need?

You’ll need a current firearms licence. If you don’t hold one, you’ll need to complete a Prohibited Person Declaration and provide valid photo ID.

International guests may require additional permits and paperwork depending on where they are hunting and whether they are bringing their own firearm into Australia.

For Queensland hunts, international guests using a firearm require a Queensland visitor’s licence. Guests bringing their own firearm will also require the relevant import permit.

For Northern Territory hunts, international guests bringing their own firearm require an International Visitors Permit. Guests not bringing their own firearm may be required to complete a Prohibited Person Declaration.

We recommend starting the permit process well in advance of your trip. All required information and forms will be provided with your booking confirmation.
